NMC - Trading won DAST Award for best media coverage |

Dr.B.R. Shetty, Managing Director & C.E.O, NMC Group and Mr.Marwan Al Mazroui, Executive Director, NMC Group received the prestigious DAST award for best media coverage from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in a glittering ceremony held on 10 February, 2010 in Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Center. The participation in DAST award was one of the initiatives from the corporate sustainability program launched by Mr. Vijayan Nambiar, C.O.O. of NMC- Trading in the last quarter of 2009. As a part of the program, NMC Trading implemented Transport Management Policy, Drivers Education and Training Policy and Drivers Hand Book in addition to the introduction of environmentally friendly automobile batteries, array of preventive maintenance procedures at different stages and GPS in vehicles to have better control and safety of Fleet Vehicles. NMCT actively participated in International Day for preservation of OZONE layer; International Day for the Natural Disaster Reduction, and COP15 Summit with media coverage, leaflets, T-shirts, caps, posters, stickers and badges. Nmc Trading displayed roll-ups at malls, launched multimedia and social media networking sites and campaigned at schools and super markets. All the tools were used to the fullest extent to promote DAST awareness across different sections of community. |

As part of the opening ceremony we had our Executive Vice President (EVP) of Health Care Brad Sauer along with the health care business executive team and Regional Managing Director Irfan Malik to honour us with the official inauguration of The Dubai Health Care City office on March 29, 2009. "We are fortunate to be a part of a very strong company and a fantastic Health Care team, serving a vital market. We have the tools and the talent to overcome every challenge we face." says our vice president. He was delighted to see a city solely dedicated to Health Care which is found no where else in the world but Dubai. 
3M Medical had held a scientific session in Abu Dhabi’s Hilton Hotel & the Towers Rotana Hotel Dubai for the launch of a wound dressing
innovation designed to offer faster healing in hard-to-heal wounds: the Tegaderm Matrix Dressing with PHI™.
We had captured a wider audience of around a 100 people who attended the event at Abu Dhabi on Feb. 26, 2009 and Dubai on Feb. 25, 2009 comprising of surgeons including specialist dermatologists, doctors, nurses, representatives from the UAE’s Ministry of Health and other medical professionals. Cathy Harley, Global Marketing Manager of 3M Health Care’s Accelerated Wound Healing Division discussed the phenomenal breakthrough in wound healing that the Tegaderm Matrix Dressing represents by providing faster healing in chronic wounds, and gave a demonstration on its use to the assembled medical community.
After an extensive Q&A session which reflected a high level of interest in end-users for the new product in the market, was the cake cutting ceremony to mark the birth of Tegaderm Matrix in UAE & the rest of Gulf.The event ended with an international buffet organized by 3M & co-sponsored by our local agent New Medical Centre trading est. Overall, this was a great opportunity for the industry decision makers to meet and discuss first hand the development of our brands with the 3M technical professionals |

“LetsGoGreen was the war cry at the NMC Ajman Warehouse on the 5th of February where NMC Ajman Warehouse team had taken the initiative to fight against global warming and de-forestation. As a part of this initiative a tree plantation drive was inaugurated by our C.O.O. Mr. Vijayan Nambiar, with an attendance of over 200 including eminent guests. Seventy trees were planted in all along with a promise to do more for the environment. Hope these saplings planted will blossom into a fine tree and serve as an example for others to follow.” |

Beiersdorf Cosmetics Trading division has once again brought glory to nmc Trading group by bagging the prestigious ‘’Partner of the year award’’ for Year 2008 which was announced on 27th January 2009 during the 24th Beiersdorf Middle East conference which was held in Sydney.
This is the 8th time the division has won this award which is announced by Beiersdorf, brand owners of NIVEA, for the Middle East & West Asia region which comprises of 16 countries.
This highest honour is a fiercely competed one among all distributors that is being scientifically judged on many quantitative & qualitative heads.

This oasis of relaxation invites visitors to come in and unwind in the world's largest shopping mall in Dubai, which has 1,200 shops. The NIVEA Haus in Dubai will offer gentle face treatments, nurturing manicures, and fashionable hairstyling, among other things. |

A basket of NMC Trading’s FMCG and Foods brands participated in the event – there were exciting promo-pack offers from Himalaya, Shahnaz Fairone, Mysore Sandal, Nunu, Chakola, Fem, Dial, Emami, Izzi, Direct, Enchanteur, Romano, Carrie Junior, Neocare, Tasty, and Food factory. NMC Trading developed creative eye-catching promotion and display material including island-displays, banners, flyers, and floor-stickers.The results – a quantum increase in sales value and volume beyond targets in an otherwise slack sales month. |
